Much Bigger than Just a Diner
Those familiar with this series of time management games will likely recognize the stars of DinerTown already. Flo is a veteran of running some fine dining establishments all around the world and Quinn is already well known for her skills in planning weddings. Now, the two of them are coming together for one of their biggest ventures to date.
Rather than tackling a small business, Quinn and Flo are combining their efforts to run an entire hotel! There are a lot of responsibilities when it comes to running a business of this size, especially since the DinerTown Suites have clearly seen some better days. Are you up to the challenge?
Catering to Their Every Need
Quinn may have bitten off more than she can chew, not only working to plan the wedding of locals Tony and Vicky, but also arranging for their honeymoon in the DinerTown Suites. Unfortunately, the hotel has gone downhill and needs some serious upgrades. With the honeymoon just ten days away, Quinn and Flo need to get in gear!
As each of the new hotel guests comes through the door, you need to address the entire process of checking them in, getting them acquainted with the facilities, right through to the check-out process. Keep in mind that you need to manage multiple customers in multiple rooms at the same time, so your multi-tasking skills will certainly be tested!
As with other similar games in the past, you'll want to place the guests into the corresponding colored room to get bonus points. After that, you'll need to bring their luggage to their room, bring the room service food as requested, deliver extra towels, clean any spills, and more. Flo is really on the go, since she has to travel up and down the floors using the elevator too!
Checking Out the Available Upgrades
As you earn money from the hotel reservations and the tips that the customers leave behind for your expedient service, you can spend these funds on upgrades for the hotel. For instance, you can buy new carpet for the lobby, a faster elevator, and live plants for the hallways.
By default, Flo has only two hands and thus can only carry two items at a time. However, there is an upgrade available that can provide you with a cart to bring additional items to and from the hotel rooms. In fact, this cart can accommodate up to five items at a time!
The most important upgrades are the stars that you can attach to individual hotel rooms. When guest stay in these "star" rooms, they leave more tips and you earn special star bills. These star bills can then be spent to upgrade the bridal suite in time for Tony and Vicky's arrival!
Moving to Even Greener Pastures
Quinn and Flo's venture in hotel management may start with the humble DinerTown Suites in their hometown, but their ambitions and perspective quickly grow to look beyond the city limits. As you make your way through this grand adventure, you'll have the opportunity to own and upgrade fancy (and not so fancy) hotels from all around the world!
